Kupa ʻAina is paving the way for a food-secure Hawaiʻi by developing sustainable food production models and providing cultural ʻāina-based experiential education and workforce development. Located on the grounds of Kawailoa Youth and Family Wellness Center, the farm serves as a place for learning, healing and connection to ʻāina.
Through ʻāina education, community volunteer opportunities, food distribution, and workforce development, we seek to restore thriving island resiliency by working towards transforming Hawaiʻi's food systems through teaching and learning about the benefits of natural and indigenous methods. Your donations will greatly benefit our efforts to enhance our farm operations, and provide more to our community and participants.
We are currently working towards:
- Kitchen/Cooking area: We plan to bring culinary skills to the farm for youth building skills and community to learn.
- Cleaning and processing station for our 'āina-grown produce and herbs.
- Portable office with AC to serve as an indoor office space to manage farm operations, and to store our seeds in a cool environment.
- Gator or golf cart for transportation around the property.
Thank you for supporting Kupa ʻAina!
